This is a study of journalist's perception of news on women harassment cases. The research was based upon the Indian laws for women and the researcher had considered two major penal codes of women protection laws which are 1) IPC section 498A which is a protection from dowry harassment of married women and 2) IPC section 354 Sexual harassment at work places. The researcher had observed the news for an year in various newspapers and watched the news of women harassment cases on TV channels before selecting this topic for the research. It was her first observation that women centric laws in India are misused by handful women and media is inclined towards women even if the men are accused falsely.The research had a motive to find out the truth and analyse if there is any prejudice.
