Autorenportrait
The author Moses Morris is a retired Shrewsbury gentleman who has spent most of his working life in the retail trade, later spending the last 27 years of it employed at his local Crematorium going onto becoming Chapel Supervisor there. No doubt inspiration for Kirkham Hall, its surroundings and its peoples was drawn from his life in Shrewsbury, also his understanding of Philip from the fact that he was also bullied and made fun of at school. He and his wife of 40 years are childless, much like Lord and Lady Kirkham, and he is now an Altar Server and Sacristan at a church in town. In his spare time Mr. Morris enjoys driving, which is fortuitously compatible with his enjoyment of caravanning. He also appreciates classical music and is fond of computing.
