'Stabilization Measures under the StFG and the WStBG. An Examination of the Special Corporate Law with Emphasis on the Capital Increase under Stock Corporation Law': This thesis examines the corporate law modifications enacted by the German legislature in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the related challenges for business practices. The author conducts a thorough analysis of the crisis regulations and concludes that, with few exceptions, the special legislation constitutes an effective response to the crisis situation and provides valuable impetus for conceptual advancements in stock corporation law.

Johannes Leon Lorber studied law in Münster and Madrid. Following his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant at an international law firm in Düsseldorf while pursuing his doctoral studies. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, with stages at the Federal Foreign Office at the Consulate General in Barcelona and a law firm in New York City.
