The Author: Jeff Karabanow is Assistant Professor at the Maritime School of Social Work, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia. He received his Ph.D. in social work from Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario. Dr. Karabanow has published widely in academic journals in areas related to street youth culture and street youth services.
