The book at hand deals with the phenomena of social entrepreneurship and sustainable consumption, analyzing the topics both generally and in the Chilean market specifically. Both subjects are emerging trends worldwide due to the growing criticism of the capitalist economic system and the increased awareness about the social and environmental impacts of contemporary consumption. The shift towards Triple Impact business models is a global trend which has also reached the Chilean market where various social and environmental problems need to be tackled. After analyzing the market conditions, a business plan for launching a Zero Waste shop (bulk shop) in Chile has been developed in the context of this book. The business, organized as a Benefit Corporation, aims to tackle Chile´s waste problems and to promote the shift towards sustainable consumption.
