Beschreibung
Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) is a technique that is currently used in particle sizing. As it was mentioned for the first time in the 70s, it is very well established. A question naturally rises: is there any improvement that can still be brought to DLS? This book presents in detail the results of our work, aiming to simplify the experimental setup, to use an as simple as possible data acquisition procedure and to design, train and test an ANN for a faster DLS time series processing. The problem of deriving the particle size distribution is not completely solved using ANNs yet, therefore it is not included in this first edition. The book also contains a comprehensive reference list, many of them being free, web resources, therefore it can be used as an entry point in studying the DLS technique, as well.
