The subject has a historical background and is at the same time modern. The experiences of the young concentration camp inmate Shadrach during the Third Reich are described in a fascinating way. Behind the mask of a cultivated educated citizen, the notorious camp doctor Dr. Skindal practices unimaginably cruel acts on him and other victims. Not without irony, it is demonstrated how the doctor wants to stylize his perfidious killing ritual into an absolute art form.

Wolfsmehl ist Dramatiker, Drehbuchautor, Film- und Hörspielproduzent, Liedtexter. Er ist Vertreter des Fantastischen Realismus. Er wuchs auf Schloss Fronberg in Bayern auf und lebt in seinem Haus am Lago di Valvestino in Italien. Er schreibt Romane, Theaterstücke, Drehbücher und Hörspiele für den Rundfunk. Die Stiftung UNESCO Bildung für Kinder in Not Kinderhörspielserie Danei im Sternenauto wurde als Full-Dome-Film für Planetarien produziert. Wolfsmehl ist Kulturpreisträger der Oberpfalz, Mitglied des PEN-Zentrums Deutschland. Er lehrt als Dozent für Dramatisches Schreiben an der Akademie Faber-Castell.
