Beschreibung
The »Society for Gestalt Theory and its Applications« (GTA) was founded under the Honorary Chairmanship of Wolfgang Metzger (see page 85) in 1978 by Jürgen Steinkopff (see page 89), Michael Stadler, Manfred Sader, Hans-Jürgen Walter and Ulrich Groeben (sitting), Kurt Guss and Friedrich Hoeth (standing), and Walter Piel (lying). This picture was taken during the first GTA convention at the University of Darmstadt. This first scientific convention was followed by twenty other international and multidisciplinary conventions at different places in Germany, Austria and Italy. The 21st convention was celebrated exactly 40 years after the very first one at the beautiful »Polska Academia Nauk« (PAN) in the incredibly nice capital of Poland.
