Kind of Hockney

In the summer of 2018 we invited the Zu?rich artist Alexis Saile to be “Artist-in-Residence” at our Gallery & Verlag in Basel. He visited and invited friends of the house, family members and people we like and love to sit for portraits. Beautiful picture documents have been created — not everyone is flattered — but the expression is pure and authentic through and through. Besides this Alexis is a silent master of still lifes and striking spells — and his Flamenco Guitar.
