This positive experience is significant because the garden is a part of the natural and cultural human environment, and thus particularly influential in the interaction between human beings and their environment.

Autorenportrait
The Swiss author Ruth Ammann studied architecture and analytical psychology. She is a psychotherapist and sandplay therapist, and is a training analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich. In addition to working in her own practice, she is also an active international lecturer. She lives near Zurich in a house surrounded by a large magical garden.
