Beschreibung
The control of engines and transmissions in vehicles are no longer conceivable without electronics nowadays. The use of increasingly complex systems is essential due to high requirements on low fuel consumption, low emission and additional comfort. Ideally the Integrated Starter Generator can be used as a high dynamic torque source for all four drive quadrants (driving and braking in both directions of rotation).
The advantages of the Integrated Starter Generator are emphasized in connection with an Integrated Power Management (IPM).
In previous publications the main focus was on the ISG as a component. This volume demonstrates the advantages of an ISG influencing the total behaviour of a vehicle considering various transmission systems.
