The 1000th anniversary of the death of Emperor Henry II has instigated celebrations throughout the city and archbishopric of Bamberg . A high point in the commemorative programme is the exhibition “1000 Years Ago” at Bamberg Historical Museum in the Alte Hofhaltung – a special exhibition that does not focus exclusively on the emperor, but takes equal account of Empress Cunigunde and the people around her at that time.
Autorenportrait
Arne Schönfeld wurde 1993 in Heide geboren und studierte Geschichte und Politik in Heidelberg und Rom. Seit seinem Abschluss arbeitet er bei den Museen der Stadt Bamberg, seit 2024 als Ausstellungskurator.
