Beschreibung
The historical-romantic novel takes place in medieval Spain, from the summer of 1491. Leila and her father Almamen are Jews, who are torn between Christian and Moorish interests. During the siege of Granada by the Catholic monarchs Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon, both try to save not only their cultural identity but also their lives.
