The chief objective of this study was to investigate the impact of community gardening at household livelihoods in Gandai communal area (ward 14) Mutare rural; A case of Wadawada, Bunha and Gandai community gardens. A questionnaire was used to source the relevant information from community gardening members; an observational checklist was also used to check on the household infrastructural development and checking o the outlook of household members; two interviews were also contacted one with the community gardening chair and the other one with the ward extension worker. The questionnaire survey involved 50 households of community gardening members who were reached through convenient sampling. The main findings were that community gardening encourages food security, promote health, ETC.
