"Ghosts and Muses" is a collection of stories and myths about the passing of adolescence and nostalgia for it. Adolescent fantasies are a kind of day-dreams, powerful enough to last for a very long day for all the dreamers in the world. "Ghosts and Muses" includes ghost stories, love stories, urban fantasy, fairy tales, folklore, mirror and memory, myths and dreams. The author often looked back on her childhood and youth in Taiwan to create the characters in her stories, giving readers a glimpse into a different, enchanting world.

As an immigrant author, I revel in reading and writing spare, crisp stories that depict the human condition in all its beauty and irony, and doing so in proper English. I believe my fellow immigrants would find my stories delightful and inspirational.
