Beschreibung
The purpose of this book is to give an insight into the simulation and prediction of an oil bearing reservoir and into the methodology of setting up such simulation. This book is based on an outcrop of siliciclastic and carbonate layers in a big synclinal structure near Ait Ourir, Morocco. During a field trip the area was split up into various fields and mapped. Afterwards, using CAD software, it was converted into surfaces which where meshed. This mesh then was the basis for the CSMP++ simulator to simulate sweep and well scenarios. Furthermore a Monte Carlo Simulation for stock tank oil initially in place (STOIIP) was implemented.
