The book is the last volume of an extensive four-volume monograph devoted to the work of Cyprian Norwid (1821–1883), one of the most outstanding Polish authors. The volume includes articles devoted to the analysis of selected sources and inspirations underlying Norwid's work.
Autorenportrait
Agata Brajerska-Mazur conducts research on the translation and works of Cyprian Norwid and other outstanding Polish writers. She works at the Maria Curie University in Lublin, where she teaches translation.
Edyta Chlebowska works in the Centre for the Study of Cyprian Norwid’s Literature at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. She has authored articles and books about the artistic creativity of Norwid including his catalogue raisonné.
