It also focuses on means of recording and communicating designs: methods of representation, practical tables, rules of thumb, and hands-on suggestions. This updated and expanded second edition addresses new and important topics in day-to-day design practice, discusses how to use plants in green facades, space-defining shrubs, the staging potential of light, and also lists key terms in a multilingual table. There are also stimulating statements on design-related issues from prominent architects, interior designers, and designers. An additional special feature of this publication are the pages with space for personal additions, observations, and notes.
